Join forward-thinking women and gain a 360° perspective of Silicon Valley.

Silicon Valley has been and continues to be one of the world’s most important centers of innovation and technology disruption. Given the Valley’s nearly unique set of assets―the presence of technology giants, world-class universities, abundant venture capital, and a hypercompetitive yet collaborative culture that celebrates both risk and failure―the Northern California region’s recipe for innovation has rarely been replicated. Pillar topics

IN PURSUIT OF DISRUPTION

In addition to networking opportunities and social activities, the curriculum consists of a series of closed-door meetings, with ample room for Q&A, focused on 4 pillar topics: Funders & Founders, The Future of Technology, Diversity & Inclusion, and From Holland to the Valley.

01

FUNDERS & FOUNDERS

Explore the venture capital industry: from the rise of Sand Hill Road to incubators and accelerators, equity crowdfunding platforms, and different models of venture capital. Hear from individuals who are at the forefront of the venture capital industry as investors, technologists, and entrepreneurs.

02

THE FUTURE OF TECHNOLOGY

True innovation is about finding new and better ways to solve tough, real-world problems that span industries - from agriculture to chemical manufacturing and healthcare. Visit dynamic companies unlocking the power of technology to solve these problems with their customers.

03

DIVERSITY & INCLUSION

Allthough we've come a long way, the lack of workforce diversity and unconscious bias is still a systemic problem in Silicon Valley. Meet with women advocates and leaders, and learn about their approaches to tackling diversity in Tech.

04

FROM HOLLAND TO THE VALLEY

The San Francisco Bay Area is one of the most culturally diverse regions in the country; 60% of successful tech companies in the US were founded by 1st or 2nd generation immigrants. Meet with professionals who upended their lives and ventured out West.
